For the campus print shop that's two operations in one.
Higher-ed print operations run in two modes — public-facing (campus print shop sells to students and the public) and internal-only (departmental print serves the institution). GraphX Higher-Ed adapts to either, and to organizations that run both side by side.
The bi-modal reality
When the campus print shop sells to students and the public
The shop runs essentially as a Print Shop with university branding. Students upload thesis prints, faculty order conference materials, alumni order graduation gifts, the public commissions custom work. You need a public storefront, payments, and a B2B layer for departmental accounts.
→ Use Full Store deployment ($850 / mo subscription) with Pay integrated.
When the campus print shop serves the institution only
The shop is captive. It serves departments, schools, and institutional functions — not students or the public. Orders charge to department cost centers. Faculty and admin approval flows are the governance.
→ Use Lite Store deployment ($450 / site / mo) with internal-purchasing flows.
Many higher-ed operations run both at once
Some campuses run a public-facing storefront and a departmental Lite Store simultaneously. GraphX supports both deployments under one operating umbrella — same platform, two surfaces tuned to different audiences.

FAQ
Higher-Ed questions, answered straight
Can we run public-facing and internal purchasing at the same time?+
Yes. Many campuses run a public-facing storefront and a departmental Lite Store side by side. GraphX supports both under one umbrella — same platform, two surfaces tuned to different audiences: a public storefront with payments for students, faculty, alumni, and the public, and internal-purchasing flows for departments.
How is the campus print operation priced?+
Per site, by mode. A public-facing Full Store is $850 / mo; an internal-only Lite Store is $450 / site / mo. If you run both, each surface is priced on its own model. Grow's Platform Care starts at $250 / mo. We give you a per-site number fitted to how your campus actually works.
How do departmental orders get paid for?+
For internal-only ordering, orders charge to department cost centers, with faculty and admin approval flows as the governance — no merchant processing required, so GraphX Pay isn't needed for that surface. For the public-facing storefront, Pay is integrated (powered by Everyware) so students, alumni, and the public can check out directly.
Does GraphX handle multiple schools and departments?+
Yes. You get multi-school and multi-department isolation, cost-center allocation across academic and operational departments, faculty / admin / staff role definitions, and reporting that fits institutional financial frameworks.
